About the event
Mythology lovers unite! Go beyond the Greek pantheon and discover a world of bold, brave, beautiful and powerful goddesses and Goddxsses/GodETCs (Goddesses beyond the binary) from around the world. Each week will explore a new goddess story, learn about the culture where she originated, and discuss themes that relate to our own lives.
Week 1: Innana + Isis (Middle East)
Week 2: Lakapati + Mayari (Filipino/Tagalog)
Week 3: Ixchel + Pachamama (Central and South America)
Week 4: Oya + Oshun (West Africa, Afro-Carribean diaspora)
Week 5: Guan Yin + Tara (China, Japan and beyond)
Week 6: wrap up activities
Teacher
This class is taught by Tara Rubinstein, Artemis Pack founder. Tara has a life-long love of goddesses, ritual, mythology and the ways ways we learn about ourselves/our world through story.
