Artemis Day Camp

We're so sad to announce that Artemis Camp is cancelling most of our sessions this summer due to Covid19. We hope you'll check out our new online program: Artemis School for Magic and Mystery!

Welcome to Artemis Camp! For girls* (*cis, trans and non binary) who love to adventure, hike, swim and build friendships! This "mini camp" welcomes 8-12 girls per week. 

West Philly Home Base

Session 1: June 29th- July 3

Session 2: July 6th - 10th

Session 3: July 13th - 17th

Most days, we'll head off in search of trails to walk and waters to swim. Favorite locations last year included the Pine Barrens in New Jersey, The Schuylkill Environmental Center and The Creek at Rose Valley. As we adventure, we create magical altars in nature, sing songs, and explore goddess mythology from around the world. On rainy days we'll do indoor activities at our home base in West Philadelphia, or out on the town. 

Bryn Mawr Location - with Lizzy Holm 

Session 4: July 20th - 24th

Session 5: July 27th - 31st

For two weeks of the summer, we will be back at our old camp location in Bryn Mawr, PA. At this location, we have access to a pool, a creek, and a beautiful private property with several acres of land for us to explore. During these weeks, we will do less adventuring out into the world, and will be primarily on site. During these weeks, we will do less adventuring out into the world, and will be primarily on site. Get ready for yoga, art projects, meditation and music by the water.

We are still determining whether there will be a shuttle from West Philadelphia. Until we have that information, please plan to provide your own transportation to and from camp each day. 

Staff

Artemis camp staff includes Tara and 1-2 assistants (depending on registration). Tara is the founder and leader of Artemis Pack. To learn more about her and the program, head to our website: www.redseeds.org

Registration: 

Artemis Camp is $325 per week/session. We ask for a $75 deposit for each session at the time you register. The balance is due two weeks prior to your camp start date.
